Code of Ethics

Last updated: June 22, 2026

This Code sets out the principles that guide how we run Square Off. It applies to everyone who works on or with the Platform — our team, contractors, and business partners.

Integrity

We act with honesty and transparency. We do not tolerate bribery, corruption, fraud, or deceptive practices, and we hold ourselves to the same standards of fair play that we ask of our players.

Legal compliance

We work to comply with the laws and regulations that apply to us in the markets we serve — including those covering real-money competition, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, consumer protection, and data protection — and we respect the intellectual-property rights of others.

Fair play and platform integrity

Square Off is skill-based and head-to-head. We never play against our users, and we keep the house out of the outcome — advertising revenue funds the prizes, so the result of every match is decided entirely by the players. We use commit-reveal mechanics and authoritative server-side game state so that no one, including us, can see a move early or tilt a result. We act against cheating, collusion, and abuse.

Responsible play

We promote responsible play and maintain controls to prevent underage access, problem gambling, money laundering, and other harm. See our Responsible Play commitments for the tools and support we offer.

Consumer protection

We safeguard the privacy and security of player data, and we offer our product fairly, transparently, and as accurately represented — including being honest in how we describe the Platform and its performance.

Workplace equity

We value diversity and aim to maintain a safe, inclusive, discrimination-free environment with equal opportunity for everyone who works with us.

Environmental responsibility

We aim to be mindful of our environmental impact and to favor efficient, sustainable choices across how we build and operate the Platform.

Raising concerns

We encourage anyone who becomes aware of conduct that conflicts with this Code to report it. Violations may lead to corrective action, up to ending an employment or business relationship. We review and update this Code over time as part of our commitment to continual improvement. To raise a concern, contact us at contact@squareoff.gg.
